Welcome to 2010 & Summer Inspirations!

Happy New Year from Under my Wing to all of my lovely customers and welcome to new ones!

I was quite proud of myself today, I had a little family gathering at my house and in addition to the usual aussie bbq fare, I whipped up a delicious Aussie treat - a pavlova. It got me to thinking about Summer and colours, so I've delved into my fabric stash and picked out some bright and fun combinations including hot pink polka dots and cherry prints which I'll be creating with over the next week or so! Stay tuned to see what I come up with...

I admit that I have been very neglectful of my blog this past couple of months, but as part of my plan for 2010 I am committing to more blog entries!

It's here that you will be able to find out about all of the new styles and products, sneak peeks, pre-sale info, upcoming markets etc relating to Under my Wing Design. As I have been dreaming up new designs of late, I have noticed I almost have a new favourite colour! (Apart from pink that is!), - RED, RED, RED! With the silly season in the air, now is a perfect time to start thinking about accessorising our littlies for Christmas parties, break-ups, Christmas pageants and all the other special occasions that come with this time of year.

SNEAK PREVIEW!

Good evening everyone...

I've been working on some new products over the past day or so - some hair clip holders. They are designed to compliment your little girls room decor and are made with lovely, premium quality fabrics - no more throwing all her pretty clips in a box never to be found again!

They aren't just any old clip holders, I designed and hand stitched them from scratch, so you know you will be getting a unique, one of a kind product...

Posh bows in 'Little Miss'

Well, today I'll be creating a custom order for my little cousin - the gorgeous Lilly....

I am also expecting some really beautiful crochet pieces in the next little while - ice cream cones (which I've had specially made) and cherries just some pretties to look forward to.

I also purchased some black and white ribbons the other day with divine prints - so look out for some unique additions to my 'posh bow' range.

Custom and one of a kind are always welcome, in fact I love doing them!
